As part of the image processing loop, the image conversion function can convert the acquired fits files to commonly used file formats (jpg and png), process them to improve the contained image data and annotate and adorn the images. Each acquired image will be converted and stored on the image conversion output folder for further reference but also primarily to allow the creation of video files for observation nights.
