Auto Video Creation: User can now specify custom location for created video file. Video file can now be deleted after successful FTP transfer.
FITS file archiving: The settings now allow a prefix to be applied to 'Day Subfolders'
Output Images Text Overlay: Wind direction can now be shown as cardinal points e.g.: N, NE, E, SE, ...
Settings File: A backup mechanism has now been added to save a copy of the settings file (in the same location) with the extension '.bak'. This can be used to retrieve the last saved settings file should the actual settings file get corrupted.
Settings Tab: The settings tab now start with all categories collapsed. This should give a better overview of the available settings.
Triggers: A 'trigger' mechanism has been added to allow the AllSkEye application to launch a defined action (script, executable) when certain conditions occur. Input variables include time parameters, weather and image data.

Notes:

 

Please note that changes to the settings structure might require the settings file to be re-created (if this is the case you will be prompted on application start). It is possible to manually upgrade an existing settings file. Please contact me on info on how this is done.
When using existing settings the camera binning mode must be set before new acquisitions can be made. Open the 'Change Settings' tab and set camera binning factor to 1, then save settings.
The auto stretch process has been made less aggressive because converted images have been found as being too bright. If you have already fine tuned this by setting the 'Auto Stretch Adjustment' setting you will have to decrease your current value by roughly 0.03 to obtain the same image brightness.
